Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so it can recognise your browser on a later visit. This policy also covers similar technologies that serve the same purpose — local storage, tracking pixels, and small pieces of embedded script.

Some are set by us. Others are set by third-party providers whose tools we use, and those providers can read their own cookies when you visit other sites that use them too.

On your first visit a banner asks you to choose. Until you answer, no analytics or marketing technology runs at all — those scripts are not merely idle, they are never added to the page.

Choosing “Essential only” has the same effect as not answering: nothing beyond the strictly necessary is loaded. Choosing “Accept” loads whichever of the tools in section 4 are configured at the time.

One item is stored whatever you answer, because it is what remembers your answer:

• richdigit.consent — records whether you accepted or declined, so you are not asked again on every page. It is kept in your browser's local storage, stays on your device, and is never sent to us or to anyone else.

Nothing in this category identifies you or follows your browsing. Clearing your browser storage removes it, and the banner will simply ask again.

These load only after you accept. Which are active depends on what is configured for this site at the time, so you may encounter some, all, or none of the following:

• Google Analytics 4 — measures which pages are visited and how people move through the site, so we can see what is useful and what is not.
• Google Tag Manager — the container Google uses to deliver the tags below, rather than a measurement tool in its own right.
• Meta pixel — records whether a visit followed from a Facebook or Instagram advert, and allows adverts to be shown to people who have visited before.
• TikTok pixel — the same, for advertising on TikTok.
• LinkedIn Insight Tag — the same, for advertising on LinkedIn.

These providers set their own cookies under their own terms, and may combine what they observe here with data they hold from elsewhere. Their own privacy notices govern that processing.

Your choice is stored only in the browser you made it in, so it does not follow you to another browser or device. To revisit it, clear this site's data in your browser settings — the banner will appear again on your next visit and you can answer differently.

Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies for all sites, or for this one alone. Blocking the strictly necessary item will not break anything, but it does mean the banner cannot remember your answer and will ask on each visit.

We update this page whenever the tools we use change. The date at the top always reflects the most recent revision, and material changes to what is collected will be put to you through the banner again rather than applied quietly.
